Yes, right now I am a bear but long term I'm bull. And I'm a pig also because I do not want to sell until 10,000. And also I'm stupid because I plan to help some poor friends / relatives with most of my bitcoin.

If I'd stop now, my life would have a great advantage. But no, my brain decided I'm not good/knowledgeable/mature/experienced enough to play with big money. It said that I have to differentiate between "needs" and "wants" and live a modest life.

I wonder if I'm doing it right or I'll epically fail.

My advice to you is you should go for it, nothing is really worse than having regrets later on about what could have been. Try and be prepared to fail, but be happy knowing that you tried.

Well greed has no limit  Grin Right now you have the time and oppurtunity, Bitcoin (or anything else in the world) doesn't stay forever.
If there are clever programmers/developers, there are always even dangerous and experienced hackers (maybe a Joint Venture) that wait for the right time for a BIG hit.

You can actually use some of it and invest on a business or start one.

And keep some to see how it goes.

Both way you win.  Wink

If you can secure your life with 75% of your BTC I would do it.
What I mean with secure your life is
 - Buy a house so that it is 100% yours.
 - Have enough money/gold on hand so you can live your life like you've done but without having to work.

This way you have 25% BTC which will be you Lucky money.
Want to live bigger go to work all the money you earn is for fun Smiley

This is my plan. I'm never going to be rich enough to buy a $50m house and drive a supercar, but I think there's a good chance I'll be able to retire and live an average live off savings. Hopefully within a few years.

I have this theory one doesn't need much to live happy: a home, a car, some emergency money, silver and BTC of course. I'd never quit work and I would start a business BUT I am on my own. I have nobody that could help me.

Satoshi can do nothing more than dumping all his BTC at once. This will hurt more to him than BTC. Don't worry he could do anything to the code, The code has been largely reviewed/fixed by the community.

Thank you, but I could argue here that I'm very selfish. I cannot withstand knowing that people near me live without basic conditions.

You never know what is going to happen.  BTC could go to the moon or down to the depths of Hell.

It's a gamble....  If you have a nice amount of BTC, then cash a small amount out.  At least try to go for break even.  Then if it all disappears you won't feel so bad.  Investing/betting on anything is a tough decision, especially if money now could help you or people close to you.

Just my two cents.   Smiley
