Unbelievable.   Wait, it's totally believable.  Seen this magic trick pulled dozens of times.  The key to this not happening over and over again is not to send first.  Use escrow and if it's a loan, get collateral.

I think it's time to rename those ranks to something derogatory reflecting time wasted on this forum, because that's what it really is.

That's actually not a bad idea, and I'm sure many other names could be suggested.  Wasn't having ranks above legendary suggested?  I'm not sure if it was taken seriously or not, but there is definitely room for something kooky at the higher levels.  With sarcasm aplenty.  We all know bitcointalk has a great collective sense of humor.
