Underground peer-to-peer trading of Bitcoin will thrive in places where Bitcoin is banned. The government can't completely stop something that exists in a digital form. Yes I agree that Bitcoin exchanges or ATMs won't be available in such countries but who cares about them when people could still exchange the coins for hard cash between themselves. Poker is outlawed in some American states but people continue to play secretly organized home games. There is always a way to go about that
