The Government is the foundation on which everything stands in the country, It makes the law and enforces it as well, They preserve the peace and protect the citizens from danger. They provide social amenities for the people and provide a peaceful atmosphere for the development of business and other things.

Why government is important ? Is because government is manage country, it creates many jobs or projects, creating laws ,  and maintaining the peace of the country. But not all the government official are good most of them are bad because he use their powers to corrupt the peoples money. Here in my country we cannot trust the Governments as they are busy only in filling their own pockets by involving in corrupted activities and don't care about the citizens of their country and you will see them making false promises before the election and once the elections are done they will simply disappear.

The government is a necessity to take care of the law and order, and to protect the borders. And personally, I prefer a government which is decentralized as much as possible (like the one they have in Switzerland), and interfering as little as possible in the private lives of its citizens. And I don't have any preference for a democratic government. I am OK with monarchies and dictatorships as well.

Yeah good, responsible and honest government would actually define how a country will fare among other countries. Without governance, there will be anarchy and chaos and people won't have anywhere to look to for leadership. Rules have to be made and implemented and a good government needs to be able to do this to make their citizens live in peace and content

Its massively important for any human society... even hunter/gatherers developed methods for governing themselves. I believe we could benefit with a decentralization of power in nation-states however as in their modern form they seem to only represent business interests. Since WW1 its been the dominant nation states exploiting the smaller ones.  This is in part what makes crypto so enticing, i feel that we have the opportunity to create our own systems to operate in through rules established in various digital currencies. Rules that cant be changed, an example could be establishing a part of fees dedicated to a fund that covers healthcare for all users. Not sure how this would work out exactly as i am not well-versed in programming but at the very least their is an opportunity to change how we govern.

I do not agree with that statement. I do admit that there are faults caused by the government and it is the fact that they cannot cater all of the citizen who needs services. But not all of them had not received any support or aide from government. I am working in the government and I am not in the front lines but I am part of the agencies who made plans allocated for the residents in our area. During the calamities our local government unit handed financial assistance and aides to the affected victims of locust infestation and to the people whose house were burned down. The sad truth in the government is that the allocated funds is not enough to provide all the needy in our locality.

I think that if the government stole less money would be enough for all. Just look how relatives of top officials and everything will become clear. Why officials have no money, but all their relatives successful businessmen?

I think no one wants to return to the Middle Ages. There were very bad and cruel orders. At the same time there were no governments and no one elected anyone. The people were slaves. Now a good form of government with presidents and parliaments, but only on human qualities depends the result.
