I think the train of thought he is on up in the above post is where we will end up going.
Connecting through tor(if you need anonymity), trusting the issuer (if blockchain based, how does issuing work even?), etc
Gotta compromise somewhere, everything can't be Bitcoin.
Just ideally want a frictionless system with those awesome properties
