Circle’s app that has already been available in the USA is expanding its services for UK citizens who can now instantly send value without fees and with the convenience of sending an email or text.

I love Circle.  It's the easiest way to buy bitcoin for me, and I've tried several.  I'm not surprised when the banks express interest in cryptocurrency, though I think bitcoin's market cap is far too small and bitcoin itself is far too speculative for banks to take much of an interest.

If the original Backside walkaround can prove to me they are the old owner of this account, I can update the email address to the email address of their choosing.
Backside walkaround has lost access to their account as they used someone else's email address to sign up, and the owner of the email address got tired of random email notifications from this site after a few months and reset the password.

Barclays has some BTC track record. They were Mt Gox's UK bank and Intersango's. I think discovering that they were in the Bitcoin business came as a surprise to Barclays as they shut them down.

They've also been talking about doing stuff with Safello in terms of handling charitable donations. I've used Circle a few times now. It's miraculous compared to many UK services.

This article is dated 6th April. No point in posting it in October.  Smiley
That said, Barclays is just providing the backbone for Circle to make its fiat payments.
