welcome to Shiva digital, India's most active group where members from across the country discuss about various matters related to bitcoin and its market.
Buying and selling of bitcoin also happens and sometimes we have investment scheme also where we earn at least 10% of our investment in a month. we are very fortunate to have such an awesome group of honest guys.

I am already a member of the group and i am too very fortunate to have such an awesome group of honest people's. It's very hard to find such types of people in this modern and world where money rules. I am very happy to be a part of the group. Let's make a change by letting the world know about us and our deeds.

Good for you!  Smiley I think many people have prejudice, also here on forum, that India is poore country where not so many people have access to the new technologies, including Bitcoin. But to my knowledge quite a lot people from India are involved in Bitcoin community and doing great stuff to promote it. And Bitcoin is one of the ways that could help improve economic situation in the country for some individuals.

Well, If current growth rates continue, India will have 1.63 billion people by 2050 and will surpass China. India have a population of

127,42,39,769 which is growing at a rate of 1.6 per cent a year, and could make the country the most populous in the world by 2050.

So, if people does not take this seriously, they might underestimate the biggest potential market in the world for their products and/or

services and also for the adoption of Bitcoin.  Wink ---> Gross domestic product  = 1.877 trillion USD ‎(2013)

Don't your group has  website or something to represent your group to the people on internet or in this forum? Because we all know that bitcoin is not yet a physical currency but it is still digital so a group related to bitcoin should have involvements on internet like a website, a blog or something like that.

I guess you don't speak good English. Otherwise, I have to warn you that BTC will remain digital forever.

I like that name "SHIVA DIGITAL". It sounds good. I hope it will raise BTC's awareness all over India.

What I like about India is the fact that they are doing something about poverty. They are one of the fastest growing economies in the world, with a growth rate of 7.6% in 2015. The world had 872.3 million people below the new poverty line, of which 179.6 million people lived in India.

As of 2014, 58% of the total population were living on less than $3.10 per day.

Bitcoin can help the 179.6 million poor people, by offering them global opportunities via different initiatives done through global micro payment with Bitcoin. A lazy guy in a 1st world country, can now pay some unemployed guy in India to do his typing, and then he pay him with Bitcoin. <micro payment> with very low fees and near instant transfers. ^smile^

It becomes a global effort to eliminate poverty in all countries.

Facebook group, Whatsapp group or Internet forum? How many members are there? Never heard of it. But, if some Indian Bitcoiners are teaming up to spread bitcoin awareness, that's always good and appreciated.

I beg to differ my friend. There are many companies working out there, that are trying to bring cheap internet to the millions of poor people out there. Take this as a example :

https://www.cnet.com/news/googles-magic-internet-balloons-bringing-wi-fi-to-india/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Loon

Let's also be realistic, you only need a mobile phone to transmit a transaction via a SmS service to use Bitcoin. If the poor countries in Africa can make technologies like M-Pesa to work on cheap mobile phones, we will make Bitcoin work in these areas too.

poor people had started using internet. And 80% of the teenage of India either have smartphone our general purpose phone with internet connection. So internet is not a big issue but the problem is many people don't know about this technology. not only this technology, but people who do not read news paper or Google for new technologies are poor technological and we should encourage them and make them aware of the technology.

I've heard there was a huge backlash against this "free" service. Or the one from facebook. It's not free in the sense that you cannot do evrything you can do with a standard paid connection, and you have no privacy, with everything recorded. Most people would not use those services, even if they are poor.

Yet, I could be wrong. I haven't been to India for many years, I guess that in the cities at least, Internet access is now affordable and widespread among the average people.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.
