Hi,

I have a comp: AMD Athlon Dual CPU 5200B - 2,7GHz
ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics

I wish to start mining. I have good technical and software knowledge but I don't have experience with coins.

Can you help me to turn my computer in miner to start mining /step by step /?

Thanks

Step 1: forget about mining BTC
Step 2: read about ETH mining, start here https://www.google.com/search?q=mining+eth+step+by+step
Step 3: gain experience and knowledge about blockchain stuff and find out how to mine other coins

It's not possible even to mine ethereum with under 2gb GPU.

@op forget about mining alltogeather with that hardware, and read up on what's even worth buying, since it's only expencive ASIC's for bitcoinand litecoin, and high end GPU's
for altcoins. Google is your friend, and your hardware, obviously is not Tongue

You can try to mine neoscrypt or equihash with cpu also xevan algo look at a cpu miner newest cpuminer opt 3.4.11 and get some shares but if you want to mine eth or this way invest in a newer gpu or rent some hashpower!

you don't mine btc unless you have a peta house mega farm, btc is not casually anymore since 2013

but you cna mine altcoin and dump for btc, which is essentially the same thing, buy one 470 amd it will give you a nice profit per month on zcash for a little consumption

... sorry, not at all.

Get yourself something "a little more actual",
or better forget about mining and buy the coins of your desire.

Wink yours PanneKopp

... please make an educated guess !
