So I finally did an internet WHOIS and got the guy (Paul) on the phone. (a few minutes ago)

He claims they (he) sent the money Monday, it just arrived back in my account as I write this.

Hell of  a deal if you ask me, it still shows open/unfilled on his website though....

However since I've been on their case since they changed the rules on me, it does at least prove the rule that squeaky wheels may grease you  Roll Eyes

my last 3 SEPA withdrawals from mtgox took each about 14 days.

when I asked if this was normal, mt gox support said there is a queue for withdrawals using SEPA.
they didn't explain why it takes so long though.

Are these withdrawl issues limited to Polish or Canadian customers ? Or shall the rest of us (at least in the USA) expect the same. ?

The more I read the more nervous I get about using real $ to buy BTC ... if BTC is going to take off and be a legitimate currency alternative, there needs to be much much better reliability and predictability legitimacy in the system.  Well, maybe in time.

can't speak for USA, but I'm not polish, I think the ~14 day delay affects all europeans.

If you are going to use mtgox, I would very much recommend to become verified before sending any sizable amount of money to them.

It took me almost 3 weeks just to become verified. The queue had 22,000 people in it. I can't imagine the amount of paperwork and accounting they must have to do everyday.
Let alone during a war. And yes, a war. They are constantly being attacked. Get this through your thick skulls. You want easy money? Good luck finding it.

I have made several withdrawals to a GBP account in the last 10 days and only once did it take more than 24hrs.
