I'm mining on my main desktop, which is running Ubuntu 12.04 and cgminer. Right now, I have a fair amount of input lag on the machine.

Is it possible to get a desktop running totally smooth while mining?

Turn down your intensity to 6 or 7, maybe lower if needed.

Or just set the I=d. Problem solved.

Cool yeah I'm just playing around with that stuff now, it just seemed to not be working right, but after rebooting cgminer it seems better . BTW, What is the range of intensity? 1-20?

--intensity|-I <arg> Intensity of GPU scanning (d or -10 -> 10, default: d to maintain desktop interactivity)
