I opened an account at MtGox last week. My account number was a six digit number. I was able to fund it using that number using Bitinstant.

For the past couple of days now, when I log on to MtGox, my account number shows as: The letters MT, two extra digits, my original account number followed by an X.

I want to add additional funds using Bitinstant, but I don't want to send to the wrong account number. (Been there, done that and still trying to get it sorted out!)

I've sent a couple of e-mails to MtGox support but so far no response. Anyone using MtGox have an account number longer than six digits?

Thanks

If you are inquiring about what number to deposit to, it should always be your 6 digit number. Same one you used upon successful deposit.

Furthermore, like you, my account # that appears at the top of MtGox upon login is M########X

But yeah don't let that confuse you.  When you click through the Bitinstant option, use the 6 digit number they tell you to use OR your Login name  (I always use the 6 digit #)
