I was thinking of selling local goods to residents of the US/Canada for NVC, would anyone be interested in such? If so, what would you be interested in? Foodstuffs, apparel, etc?

Sorry if this sounds newbish. >_>

Very good!
And please for BTC, too, and with shipping to Russia, too!

Once ASICs come to the general public lots of GPU miners will come to mine scrypt coins like NVC. So yes, very good idea! And perhaps very profitable too. Grin NVC is here to stay!  Cool

Not sure how much shipping to Russia would cost. X_x I mean, it's possible, but the mark up would be fairly large. Also, not many things would survive such a long trip, so produce is generally out of the question, even in winter. Also, what would you Russians want to buy the most?

Off the top of my head, I could sell various types of honey, jerky, and local alcoholic beverages, mainly mead. During the winter I could probably ship hard candies. Would you be interested in clothing goods or bedding, like shirts, quilts, etc?

I would need to wait until the Farmer's markets start to really get a grasp on new businesses and items, but feel free to tell me the types of items you are interested in.  Grin

I think that cryptocurrencies would be usable to buy relatively rare or expensive goods.

60-80$... Ouchies. Well, all I can say is I hope you order enough to fill a box. X_x I would still be willing to ship to Russia, even with those prices, though. Just going to a 25 NVC mark up or so for shipping... Is that really okay for most?

@Balt, I live in a farming area. So it would be unlikely that I can obtain any kind of rare or expensive goods. I mean, some of the local stuff may taste better then what you can get in your area. XD What would you consider "rare", though?

Great things!
We need to promote closer and introduce new currency for peoples. This will help to gain market cryptocoins.

Kinda need actual ideas on what else people would like to buy/see. I know gold/silver coins speak the loudest in real world value, but that's not something I can reasonably get around here, let alone ship across seas. Also, is anybody outside of Russia interested in this? >_>
