Been mining using 50miner because of the super easy interface for a while now.. I mine for the btcguild mining pool.. Now they are going to do away with getwork servers and are asking everyone to switch over to stratum.. When I try to do switch I continually get error: problems communicating with bitcoin RPC.. I put special allowances in my firewall for port 3333 in case that was causing the problems and it still did not help.. Have searched for hours before making this post but am not sure what to do to get around this.. When btcguild completely drops getwork in a few weeks I will have to switch pools and I dont really want to do this.. I am no where near as educated on this as most of you seem to be so ANY help is greatly appreciated.. Thanks
