Do you guys think we will find superior hashrates within this new series? I am admittedly new to this. I tried a search and found nothing. I have just compiled my first rig. I have one 7950. I am thinking i may have to buy more soon cause it looks like their might be a void/lack of production until the 8k series drops. So any speculation? Is the 28NM technology gonna improve our ability solve blocks? My brain tells me yes. I imagine some cards will be below current cards such as the 6990 and 7950.

Not before ASICs pound it into the ground.

LTC and NVC are currently THE coins to care about for GPU mining (and will continue to be that way for the time being).

honestly.. the card that can do it most power efficiently will end up being a BIG winner, espescially with summer coming up and having to really fight a big battle with heat to mine profitably once you have to use electricity to mine AND cool the house.

And to add onto that, finding low power cards with decent memory clocks. The days of undervolting cards for efficiency may be over.
