I'm really just playing around with mining.  I've joined a pool, but my hash rates are much much lower than others in the pool.  Is that annoying to other pool members?  Obviously, the likelihood of my workers finding a block is very low.  Am I contributing?  Or am I considered a leech?

Other members should not be annoyed by someone with a low hash rate. if you don't tell them they won't even know you exist. Yes you are contributing. you are doing work that someone else would have to do before the block was found. your reward is proportionate with your contribution. Mine On!

Thanks.  I suspected; but it's nice to have it confirmed.
