Price was inflated because of demonetization, but now it seems everything going back to normal.

I don't think so yet .. there is still 1 month to cover the cash issue in India .. so there is a chance to rise in Mid Dec or may be end Dec .. Smiley

Yes, you are right !
I guess that we can see price boost again in 1-2 weeks Smiley
But, people sold their btc at zebpay and other platform at high rates and capitalized the moment, that's why demand for btc got decreased, and due to this we are seeing the price drop.

I don't know if you saw it, but there was a rant against the price hike in many BTC forums. The owners must have realized that we would stop buying their bitcoins and they would suffer harsh loss. Demonetization is no excuse for the price hike. It is the time people should lower online price in order to help the country. I hope they learn their lesson before they face serious threats to their revenue.

Black Cash has nothing to do with bitcoin price hiking... except that the greedy seller's found an excuse to increase their rate.

It's still white if its in the bank remember ? If you people keep buying obviously the price will go up

Wait till it drops down to normal 52k sounds good !

The price is still bad at the moment 100$ extra for 1 btc ? U kidding me?

Well, it's just a guess you are talking about, and we all are seeing the prices skidding down rapidly and a difference of 10k in a day is not a small thing to just let go and buy in when you are not sure what you will see the next minute. I think everything has settled now because 1k notes are completely out of use and even 500 Rupees notes will be out of use soon, and I don't think that now anybody will be accepting those notes. They wanted to take the advantage of this opportunity, they took it and now they are out of the game.

It was all because of demonetozation .when people have nothing to do with so many bitcoins they were randomly buying bitcoins .now the situation is becoming normal day by day .kudoos Smiley

So does that mean that the indian markets are back to normal. I really did not understand why the price shot up in the first place.I know its because of demonatization but to purchase the coins you need bank account to transfer the amount and if so how would that help people with black money if the transaction are made through bank  Huh

The price has dropped since yesterday from 64k INR to 56k ,

What do you guys think is this still a fair price to buy at ?

Personally I feel preev market rate + 1-2 k is a good price as it was in the past.
I think price will fall more and settle at 50k in December.
You should wait before Christmas ends and buy after it

Really? And what do you think now?
The price is back above 60k and Christmas is near, still everyone thinking that the price will fall?
I hope we see $1000 in India once again as it was already there when we crossed the 67k mark before.

price is now 64k to 65k INR.I can predict 100% chances are here that bitcoin would be cross $1000. Because you are right saying that bitcoin has been reached at $977. So let see, many hopes are here, if bitcoin continuously grow up and more. So it is really big good news for us, and we should celebrate it with Happy New Year.

The $1000 target price should not be our target. We should be looking at an INR 1 lakh bitcoin.
That would mean a 40-50% hike over the last ATH. I think it is possible in 2017.  Smiley

On new year 2017 as a welcome bitcoin has already crossed the 1000$ mark and seems to the good start for the bitcoin price. Finally after years it has seen 4 digit $ price. Hope this time it will be able to sustain its price and stabilize rather than a free fall.
