I guess our campaign sheets will have direct bitcoin based calculations rather than just in number or in USD value.

I just see this is a pre-step from this software giant to embrace cryptocurrency giant for adding up again the bitcoin payment option in their online stores.

Wow, this is really cool and I would definitely want to see how it will play out because the simplicity of Google signature campaign sheets is cool already, I would really want to know how simpler this will offer. Excel on its own is already a robust package used all over the finance industry. I am sure with this new feature coming into the finance industry,  more popularity will be brought into Bitcoin.

This is no surprise, we all know that Microsoft had been Bitcoin friendly since 2014.  This was announced as early as March 31, 2016 @ https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/microsoft-excel-support-bitcoin-currency/.  and later update today https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-will-get-native-support-microsoft-excel-year/.

This means Bitcoin symbol and the 8 decimal places will be supported by MS Excel.  That would make our work easier in listing bitcoin transactions.

Actually no. Microsoft had withdrawn their support for bitcoin payment option in this app store in earlier 2016 itself.

After that, now they shows interest in bitcoins but this time integrating native bitcoin number formatting options in excel sheets. Still this will be more needed one as this will definitely boost bitcoin promotions.

Hopefully microsoft app store will open doors for bticoin payments again soon  Cheesy

That is nice news and all of that since it proves bitcoin is slowly gaining adoption but, why are you still using microsoft products? They are full of backdoors, use Linux any distribution that you prefer every single one of them is better than microsoft  in terms of privacy.

That's great news, everything that is related to BTC in a positive light is superb, and in this case such a huge company being connected with BTC-that would be so good that BTC will continue on its way up.What would really make it better is if the company includes BTC in all of its products and not just the platform excel sheets but even if that doesn't happen it would still be a positive event

Bill Gates: bitcoin is better than the traditional currency, you do not need to store them in the same place, and for large transactions, the use of traditional currency trading is quite inconvenient."
The layout of the global bitcoin should be positioned as a variety of digital currency settlement center, or clearing reference.
It is not a problem to be a currency in some industries, fields, and regions, and it is not possible for an alternative to the global real currency, and countries will issue their own currency.

Did they really withdraw their bitcoin payment option? I don't know why they would integrate it and then remove it, maybe they were having problems that only a company that big could have with integrating bitcoin. Did they ever say why?

This is not a big deal, it's just a small patch that could be done in 1 hour.

It doesnt even show if the company executive agrees to Bitcoin. Maybe it was just some lower level boss, like the head of the programmers who thought out this idea.

So dont get too excited, the CEO and Board Members are probably not pro-Bitcoin yet to my knowledge.

It means to use bitcoin as a currency unit in Excel?
