I am getting pissed the FCUK off here!

I made a Gemini account on December 10, and put 1/4 of a BTC into it.  I sold that BTC for cash.  On Dec 13 I transferred a few bucks from my bank account to Gemini to verify my account.

It STILL hasn't been approved!  I can't withdraw my cash until my bank account comes out of pending status.

I am getting tired of this bullshit!  I've emailed a few times but they give the same form letter in response each time.  I need a phone number to call these bastards on.

Anyone else having problems with Gemini?

I wonder if it would do any good to call the SEC on their asses, maybe then I will get some attention.  We are talking about less than $200 in BTC here.

Thats what you get for using a legal exchange under the scrutiny of a regulating body. Your real problem is you cant call the a scam because they are regulated. This gives them the right to take their time in approving your account and confiscate your funds if they suspect anything fraudulent from you.

I am sure they will have a legitimate reasons for keeping you pending and since they are regulated as right noted, be rest assured they they are carrying out some investigation or due diligence on you and maybe they have large amount of clients to deal with. Either way, you have no option than to wait since you can't fight them. Even if you get their phone number, ypou will only get to speak with a customer service agent who have been programmed to still tell you to wait...
