And here comes the first of many Monero supporters (Febo) drawn to any and all thread that has Dash in it, with just one basic desire : to suppress any interest in Dash.

Monero itself has a very shady background, and malicious crippled mining software in their early days but that is all irrelevant as it happened more then two years ago.
Same can be said of Bitcoin where more then a million bitcoins are in the hands of one entity (Satoshi), but that does not influence it today in any way.
Dash also had mining problems in its first few days, but that does not make it a scam or a premine.

For those interested in those first few days of Dash : https://dashdot.io/alpha/?page_id=118

I think you definitely can't compare Satoshi having a lot of bitcoin with this Dash instamine. This is ridiculous.
And besides i think monero doesn't did anything which hurts the community that much at all. They made mistakes but this mistake of Dash would be easy to solve with just a restart but somehow they didn't and so it still hurts and this is one of the reasons i don't like Dash that much either.
They might have solid tech and a great development team, but i rather prefer Monero or other coins as well solely due to this fact.

Which is perfectly fine, we are all entitled to our own opinion or coin preference. I joined Dash at the very hight of its first pump and till this date i still have not cleared those first few buys
from may 2014, when Dash was trading at 0.026

I did not care about the instamine back then and i dont care about it now, same goes for the rest of the Dash community.
I also take responsebility for my own actions and dont blame anyone else for buying those Dash at its price peak, as i was fully aware of the volatility of cryptocurrencies.

Seems fine.
Bought some Dash on the peak as well. Sad

Good Morning,

I'm starting to learn about Dash and I had some doubts.
In Bitcoin every 10 minutes 12.5 bitcoins are created as rewards in the block, and who receives are the miners.

In the Dash where do the new dashcoin come from?

Grateful

Shhhh it's a secret !  Shocked
