https://bitfloor.com/

Site appears to be down. I just transferred USD there; they better not run off with my money and skip town.

Everything is up and down like a goddamn yo-yo.  btc-e won't go past login for me.  The forum is alternately normal and tres slow.  bitfloor - as you say.  The other open exchanges are lagging or sputtering.

It's all fucked, with a metric crapton more demand for services than supply with Gox out of  the picture (unstable as it has been).  Oh hell there's some serious money to be made, by somebody who can put together some bulletproof infrastructure.

I can't speak with authority, because I am not bitfloor, but I have p2p transferred money to them one time and they went down like a minute later. I still had my money in the account in a few days, just like they promise.

In any case, I've diversified where I hold bitcoins and I don't rely on holding many at any time in bitfloor anymore. Its just to risky because even though the creator of Bitfloor seems honest, you just never know.

But rest assured, I've gotten my money transferred fine in similar situations and it all worked out. Hopefully, your situation is the same.

It just sits around on a bank account till it comes back up. I don't think they will skip town, they got hacked and managed to say sorry and keep on going. Roman is around, people know him, so I think it would be hard for him to clear about bank accounts and skip town.

more or less retired.

Right now I can log in, access the trading window but can't actually place a trade, it's been like this for at least 15 minutes.

And yeah I wouldn't worry too much about your money. It's sitting in their bank account; DDoS and high volume/under-capacity can't touch it.

Edit: I can place orders again, and price has started moving again. This shit is like a yo-yo.
