Recently picked up this 7lb beast of a card and am ready to mining asap... but having no luck trying to use the AMDGPU-PRO driver from
http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDGPU-PRO-Driver-for-Linux-Release-Notes.aspxthe display works fine with generic linux display drivers but will only boot to emergency mode after installing above driver. even tried to install 16.30, having same issue. thoughts anyone?
using ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, should i try a different distro? (i'm trying to avoid switching over to doze. will only switch over if its my only option...)
edit: fixed. was a installation error on my end. card and driver working properly.
