list of things to consider before investing

Is it a scam?
Is it listed in exchanges?
Is it a new or older project?
If project is older; is there active development?
Try the product and compare to other similar projects.
What innovation does this project bring that is unique and what are its other selling point.
Is the project well funded?
Is their a team or a single person leading the project?
How many strong competitors are there in this field?
What is the likely potential payoff?
Is the product useful?
Does the developer have a clear roadmap and mile stone. Does he keep it?

Are there any other points that need to be considered, any suggestion would be appreciated.

Meme potential/meme integrity needs to be considered. Shitcoin investors love their memes. Coins can be extremely profitable without providing any real world value so long as they provide some dank and spicy meme for their community. (i.e. dogecoin, trumpcoin, memetic, pepecash, etc.)

Pepecash is a very strong currency solely because its meme implementation and potential.

I think even when considered all the points you are telling will be more safe to invest in that coins and you wont get scam or cheated. The points you refereed are ok for some extent but the main point is the patience in investing or trading because if you are thinking that you are investing today and tomorrow itself you will get the profit is stupidity.

Thanks for the checklist, I bookmarked it so if I ever want to invest in a project I'll ask myself all these questions first. We usually miss a few of these and it might be a critical step before we put our money in there. But as soon as we're able to answer all of them, we can decide whether it is worth the investment or not.
