What kind of coin do you want to mine?
Pools allow you to mine 2 additional coins along with Litecoin. Each coin has its own community of miners who can tell you the best way to mine in your case.

I want to merge mind Doge/LTC mainly.

A lot of the post or opinions I get all say to mine solo thru a pool. But thats exactly what I dont want to do.

Theres no checks and balances on this stuff, so If I hit a block using solo thru a pool, who is to say whether they take my block and or not. Know what I mean?

Only way to merge mine is using a pool, create your own.

If you know how to make a mining pool, you will achieve your goal. But I've heard that it's not an easy thing to do. If you have a question of distrust of existing solo pools, then read the reviews. Litecoin is not very profitable to mine solo because of the low rewards. And pools give you a profit in mining 2-3 more additional shitcoins.

To mine solo, you just need to set up your own node and connect your mining software directly to the network

To mine solo without a pool you need to run a full node of the crypto you're mining. This means downloading and syncing the full blockchain, setting up a wallet and configuring your miners to connect directly to your node.

Solo mining requires running a full node which means downloading the entire blockchain. You'll need to adjust configuration files and direct your miners to your local setup. Block discovery takes longer compared to pool mining so it demands patience and technical know-how.

Bro if your serious on this ignore these guys their obviously not going to give you the 15 page instruction manual to setup the server hook up the miners etc. What I can do for you if you are genuinely serious is just pop me a DM i'll get on a video call with you and offer remote support an do the whole setup for you that is if you are able to locally host the node. I'll even get your node setup synced hardened etc. I'll do it all for a reasonable price what I am primarily looking for is some good feedback on the unique support i'm willing to offer.

You'll need to install and sync a full node for your chose Scrypt coin, configure the node to accept mining work and connect your mining hardware directly to it. Be sure to have enough storage and bandwidth.

Recently, a miner mined a block on the CKPool solo pool

Solo Miner Mined a Block of Bitcoin On a $299 Device
https://cryptorank.io/news/feed/e561f-solo-miner-mined-a-block-of-bitcoin-on-a-299-device

His reward amounted to 3.15 BTC or ~$250,000.

According to CKPool administrator Kon Kolivas, the probability of computing a block with such power is one in a million - on average, it requires 3,500 years of work.

In total, the user involved in mining six Bitax produced by D-Central Technologies with a combined hash rate of ~3.3 TH/s. The ”winner” was one of the Ultra model installations. It uses an ASIC chip for Antminer S19XP from Bitmain.

The newer and more powerful versions - Bitax Gamma and Supra - are built on the chip for the latest generation Antminer S21.

According to the website of hardware vendor Altair, the devices cost between $169 and $299 in the United States.

Kolivas noted that connecting multiple miners increases the chances of luck. In his opinion, it is the total computing power that plays the main role in this case.
