Does anyone know whether or not Martin Lewis of Moneysavingexpert.com has an official position regarding Bitcoin? If someone can point him towards this thread so we can get a direct statement from Martin I think it would be quite interesting for all members who frequent here, and his website. After all each day that goes by we hear of further savings accounts interest rate cuts I believe the common layman will look towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as they look to be their own banker.

Martin if you reads this then please feel free to reply.

Yeah something is up with saving rate.

Just saw an advertisement for e-savings account at 1.95% interest.
I think they do mean bitcoin when they think using "e" is the new way to appeal to those users of bitcoin.
