Fire and Ice  (a Central Planners Lament, with apologizes to Robert Frost)

Some say the world will end in inflation,
Some say in deflation.
From what I've tasted of consumption
I hold with those who favor inflation.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of insolvency
To say that for destruction deflation
Is also great
And would suffice.
