I sold at 95 expecting it to come down to like 85 or 80... But it just keeps going up...

Anyone else want it to go down but then bounce right back up?

And I know what would happen, once I say okay I'll buy in... it'll go down

Lol... just cut your "losses" and buy back in... it's only going to go up. Bitcoin is spreading like wildfire in Argentina right now.

ITT: OP is butthurt that he made a bad decision speculating.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

That is true; although my $150 prediction by tomorrow night (that I made a week ago) may not come true. But it still could.

Just stop watching obsessively. The price will go up and down; that's what it does. It doesn't go up in a straight line, it goes up with a bunch of jagged up and down spikes. Relax.

The lesson to hold or the lesson to buy back in? I would assume hold

I also sold at at about 95,but as soon as the $100 wall was broken, I knew the only direction it could go was up. So I bought back at 101(incurring a slight loss) and now it's going nowhere but up. If it breaks 110 I'll be so happy and proud of myself as a amateur daytrader.

Way to minimize losses self. Cheesy

Edit: I'm amazing, as soon as I post, -------->$110.

Looks like this is my...

IMO, The big fish are going to lure the smaller fishes in, if there are in fact all the thousands of backlogged accounts(personally I dont believe it. if anything they are probably multiple accounts set up by the same person). It reminds me of one time when i was a kid the coin collector at the arcade left the door open by accident and I could have grabbed the coins if I wanted, but it wasnt even worth it, I think the whole time i was there it was played like 3 times. I think that thats what is happening with the volitility in regards to the price. The big players took the majority of the wealth in the bitcoins and have been unwinding the positions. They probably will let it climb quite a bit, sucker in some easy money and pull the ladder out again and nobody will even bat an eye because it happened before and can happen again. If they were smart they should have let the price fall through the floor and people would have come in droves to but more coin than if the price is slowly rising, but more expensive. Personally I'm not sure if this, in the shorter term(few days) is a trap?  I think that plunge scared alot of people away. I used to day trade a few years ago, but this is like the wild wild west. No rules, no liquidity(without taking it in the arse), no market makers cr azy ass chit. At least you have a bit of a chance on Wall street. Obviously this means nothing to the long term holders but I think it hurts a company, idea,  person etc to get too big too fast. I am very confused.
