Near 0. You won't get any BTC mining with your CPU/GPU, since there are now specialized machines that can mine the equivalent of over 500 computers, with good specs, for a price way less compared to getting 500 computers. Don't bother mining with your computer, as you'll spend more on electricity than you will earn (which will be less than 1000 satoshis/month), and possibly damage your computer.

If it's single core and 2.9ghz then it'll probably get you about 290KH/s maximum in SHA-256 MINING.
If it's dual core and 2.9ghz then it'll be double that.
BUt, the profit is practically non-existant for bitcoin mining (you'd earn less than a satoshi per day).

You could always try mining with the CPU for a different altcoin though that could be profitible.

Mining on your laptop will dramatically reduce its lifespan, I would not recommend you mine anything with it.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Bitcoin --> ASIC miners

Other cryptocurrencies --> PC with high-end GPU  cards

Laptop is a no go, you only end up burning it in the end.

If you want to mine with your laptop and have a 1tb HDD (search BURST or STORJ for options that you could use there).
I have no idea how the algorithm for bytecoin functions, probably using gpu or cpu power but other than that I'm unsure as to what you'd need.
