I installed an electrum wallet a couple months ago with 2FA and recently deposited 500$ of btc into that wallet. However I am not able to send the 500$ i got in btc anywhere because I have 2FA but no google authentication anymore on my phone because i had to factory reboot it (htc one M8). I still have the seed and my password to electrum. The version of electrum that i have is 2.7.9.
I have also tried to restore my wallet to see if that did anything but unfortunately whenever i delete the folder in electrum and start electrum again, i do not have the option to restore my waller, and it instantly sends me to create a new wallet (when this happens i just restore the old files from the recycle bin so i still have the 2FA wallet).
So my question is how can I send my funds somewhere and make a new electrum wallet, or restore my wallet so it does not have 2FA anymore.

when it asks you to create a new wallet, just go one step further and select 'I already hve a seed'
