1 MSI Z97 GAMING 5 ATX Gaming Motherboard
1 Intel Core i5 6500 2.7 Ghz 8 MB Skylake LGA 1151 6th Gen Intel Processor
1 Corsair Vengeance® LPX 16GB DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz (CMK16GX4M1A2400C16)
1 Corsair Force LE Series 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
1 Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Intel CPU Cooler
1 WD 2TB Internal Hard Drive
1 CORSAIR RMx RM1000X 1000W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Power Supply

Well, most of the item are overkill if this will be mining rig only... You DO NOT need all those stuff...

CPU: Intel G1840 is more than enough
MEM: 4GB would do, 8GM More then enough

Lose those stuff: CPU Cooler (you will get stock with one i suggested), 2TB HDD. No point of having them.

PSU is weak for 6x 480s it could run but would be at very edge... use 1200W at least, and that is with undervolted 480s

Also if you do not plan to expand to 7 GPUs, use ASRock H81 BTC motherboard instead, it supports 6 GPUs, and is much cheaper than one you suggested.

I have similar configuration but it is not active yet:

Z97 Gaming 5 Mobo
7x RX 480 Sapphire 1342mhz boost clock model (testing Jukebox 29.3 low power bios and reading around 75-80 watts on GPU-Z) on Asrock Z87 Extreme4 mobo.
Used Trixx to undervolt around 75-85 mV
8GB RAM (grabbed it from my desktop pc)
120gb ssd
g1840 cpu
v6 risers
EVGA P2 1200 Power Supply
OS Win10 Anniversary

1 MSI Z97 GAMING 5 ATX Gaming Motherboard <- is a 1150 socket for 4th and 5th gen Intel CPU
1 Intel Core i5 6500 2.7 Ghz 8 MB Skylake LGA 1151 6th Gen Intel Processo <- is a 1151 socket 6th gen Intel CPU

You need to change one of these 2 to make it actually build-able.

If you stay with the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 you can add a 7th card. Definately keep the celeron though -- thats all you need.

Also, I would get two better PSU's -- Platinum with 1000w each. You essentially want to pull 50% (~500w) from each PSU so you get the full benefit of 80+ power supplies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_Plus

2X EVGA 600 B1 80+ BRONZE 600W Continuous Power Power Supply 100-B1-0600-KR
1X Open wooden Frame for stetup

Two advises:

-No need for 1 TB hard disk or SSD, go with the one with lesser space, that'd save you some money.
-Make sure risers are USB risers.

1x Corsair Vengeance® LPX 8GB DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz (CMK16GX4M1A2400C16 4GB DDR3 is enough
1X Corsair Force LE Series 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
1X Seagate 1 TB 3.5" SATA 7200RPM HDD ( Maintaining wallets etc)
6X Riser 1x/16x PCI
2X EVGA 600 B1 80+ BRONZE 600W Continuous Power Power Supply 100-B1-0600-KR
1X Open wooden Frame for stetup

Go for MSI Z97 GAMING 5 if you plan for 7th Card in future on same rig otherwise ASROCK H81 Pro BTC is best
and please note that Z97 GAMING 5 only supports LGA 1150 socket for 4th and 5th Gen Intel /Pentium/Celeron
You don't neet Intel Core i5 6500 as its 6th Gen CPU with LGA 1155 socket.
Again you don't need DDR4 RAM as MSI Z97 GAMING 5 support only DDR3 RAM same as H81 Pro BTC
No need of any 1TB HDD (I guess you have enough money for waste) Angry
Risers should be USB ones

Now you are good to go  Smiley
Good Luck buddy

And, if you are planning ETH Mining, consider RX 470 4GB... They are cheaper and more use less power...

I would go for Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ 4GB
