Must be some "fraction" scam like in Office Space. $0.00000000000000136 here and there, over the course of.... uh... five centuries, is bound to yield something significant.
What happened was the btc was in 2 different wallets. So I sent it out in 2 parts but they truncated the last digit so it said to send .01 more btc. So I sent .01 more btc and it still said I had to sent another 0.0000000000000017 btc even though I had already sent the full amount. The records show that I paid the full amount so it was a software problem. Roberto says I made it all up but I have the records saved to my hard drive.
Um...how are you supposed to send less than 1 satoshi? That's the smallest unit of account supported. Sounds like coding fail on their part.
Here's an idea that might clear the logjam without costing you anything: feed the deposit address they gave you to one of the many free-bitcoin sites. That should be good for at least 100 satoshis, if not more.
