total time logged in

the total time i'm logged in to this forum is longer than written above.
from some reason it won't update the time.
need help...

You have to actively use the forum - just logging in, leaving the computer, then coming back a few hours doesn't count as being logged in for those hours.  Hey, I feel your pain, I'm a 'newbie' as well, but them's the breaks to keep knee-jerk-reactionists, most trolls, and spammers out
