First I've heard of this. Is this even possible, given the enormity of the funds invested in this project? I'm cruising reddit looking for any mentions of this.

Keep us informed

They shouldn't if they want Ethereum to survive. Take a haircut or lose it all.

Yeah rumour is all ETH refunded.

Does it mean all the DAO will be converted back to Etheruem. That was what Stephen Tual said yesterday.

It's still severly overvalued. Same people that sold you this scam with broken code now demand you keep the faith. How dumb are you? Get out while it's still worth something.

It must be rumour because a majority of miners have to agree to any changes to the software. There is a plan to blacklist the hackers address and make the DAO a withdraw only contract in about 27 days. However, the majority of miners must agree to upgrade to new software that blacklists the hackers address first, and they might not agree to it as it sets a bad precedent.

That's the best option if they want to revive Ethereum, but they still need to do some other stuff after this screw up.

A voting is going on in several pools. majority of the miners who vote support the soft fork. But it is early days.
