Transfer BTC to UK Bank Account

Having real problems finding a definite answer on here.

I transferred coins to mtgox, sold them and had £xxx in my account.

I setup a bank account using IBAN information, waited....and waited for the account to be verified.

Tried to withdraw and then was shown that 'your withdraw must be made from EUR' even though my Mtgox account is showing as GBP and I setup a GBP bank account.

So, what am I doing wrong and how can I convert BTC to GBP and get it into a UK bank account!

you cant...you have to withdraw in euro or usd due to uk banking legislation

same reason you cant deposit in gbp anymore
