Is this a good security to invest in? The dividends seem good and they are expected to increase with daily updates, but there is not much discussion about them.

As with any security you can't be 100% sure but if you compare this stock to other mining stocks it looks good. The first mining stocks on the scene on Cryptostocks for example GMP and the later from the same issuer MGMP has had, in relation to the total capital invested (number stocks sold * price sold at) an avg daily return of 0,05% and 0,01% respectively and COINFARM is at 0,15% and the current daily returnrate is higher 0,42% and like you said they have more hardware arriving and unspent capital to invest in more hardware in the future so the likelyhood is good that this stock will have better return on investment than GMP/MGMP for example.

You have a thread going about COINFARM over here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=480196.0

Coinfarm honestly has been one of the very few legitimate asset's I've come across on crypto::stocks.  There are 2 or three others but that's literally it for me.  I've had some pretty miserable history with my investments there.  That being said coinfarm hasn't given us any sort of update into the 1TH dragon miner that apparently had a hash module burn out.  Would be nice to get that unit back online to help increase the daily dividends.

*That being said, it being a mining asset, just like all other mining asset's the returns are without question going to continue to decrease which will subsequently continue to lower the per share price.  Just the nature of the mining game unfortunately.

Sadly it looks like we got the answer to your question.  Here is the latest posting on crypto::stocks by coinfarm asset:

Ticker    COINFARM - DigitalCoinFarm
Date    10 Oct 13:17
Annoucement
For months, we found that mining has become increasingly difficult because of the mining machine price, and many other reasons for it.
Mining machine can dig back less than half of the investment. Pl
And IDC place rent cost, electricity, security costs. it getting too difficult for us to maintain the operation of the project,
So a couple of months ago, we began to research other projects, for example, automated trading system, or hedging trading system, and mining pool system.  But system are still under development.
We decided to changes in payment method, possibly in twelve weeks or a month later, will announce a new project.

If we maintain like this, it really hard to earn back all investment. We will use the remaining funds to develop much of the new system to maintain a stable income.

We will make new annoucement after new system come out.

*Summary: They delayed previous daily dividends from 5th until allegedly the 10th.  On the 10th the make the announcement made above.  Obviously share price isn't worth a damn any longer and no mention of this alleged delayed dividend.  End Result: Thanks for the funds fellas...we'll figure out some way to make money with them while your investment goes to shit!  Thanks for investing with coinfarm!

**Very likely scam.  Avoid at all costs.

I highly doubt they are a scam. I currently hold no shares but did when they opened. With the current market and prices of bitcoin it is Damn near impossible to earn profit with the equipment bought months ago. Honestly it's why I sold off rather early and haven't invested in mining since.  I think it was poor prediction of the price of bitcoin and the thought it wouldn't drop this low.

Bitcoin securities are all universally scams, frauds, or failures. Even if among the hundreds of these there might be one or two legitimate businesses, why bother?
