Maidsafe need an unbiased opinion.

Maidsafe project is going for a long time. I just vaguely get the concept. I wanted to ask if this project is worth investing in and how likely is the chance of success of this project. Is there any signs of progress? Plans for 2017 and when it will be starting.

My thoughts on this coin roughly boil down to my thoughts on all these service coins (siacoin, storj, wetrust etc), which is that they should focus on making the decentralized storage (or service) then use an existing coin that is meant to be a currency as a payment method.

Tokens would just be used internally to ration out the propper cryptocurrency to miners.

This project is older than Bitcoin, but we don't know when it will be released, well at least we have alpha version for testing...

But maybe someone knows and can share release year and month?
