Well of course climate change is real. Yesterday was sunny and warm. Today is rainy and cool. Tomorrow it will be cold and snowy. The next day it will be warm and sunny and all the snow will melt. Climate change.
Nobody has a clear enough understanding of thousands of years of climate to be able tell that the present, tiny shift isn't some cycle that has happened hundreds of times in the past.
The big issue that has been made out of climate change these days is of a political nature, to put fear in the minds of people, so that they bow to the wishes of their politician saviors... all to make the politicians rich.
I will concede your point, but consider; did we have all the environmental factors available back in the day that could influence the Climate? A much higher population, the widespread combustion of fossil fuels, and industrial waste/environmental damage? Should we fear making extrapolations using all if the technology we have accumulated, because we may be wrong? Even if you don't want to include the current climactic deviations, surely, we as a larger group of humans have a larger effect on the environment, which will grow as our numbers do?
Don't you think addressing those concerns proactively is better than cleaning up a mess,? Especially if our knowledge is so limited, as you have stated?
And yes, all things of this world lead to substance, to Mammon. We can agree on that, brother.
