Bandwidth Usage of bitcoind

What is the bandwidth usage of the bitcoind service?  I am looking for an estimate of idle bandwidth usage and the bandwidth used following each of these JSON calls to communicate with the Bitcoin network:

getbalance
sendfrom
move
getnewaddress

If there are any configuration flags I can set to minimize idle bandwidth usage, that would also be helpful.
