I have recently lost access to my Ploniex account for some unknown reason, as when I try to put in my username and password it doesn't work. I am debating just giving up and moving to another site.

What are some sites you would recommend for trading and managing cryptocurrencies besides Poloniex?

did you contact poloniex support system? i think your account could be recover as long as you are on level 3 and you already sending the document that they need. i think if you really want to move into another market then i am suggesting you to trying with bittrex because bittrex have high volumes too like poloniex.

Its not really a valid reason to jump out so easily on other sites since there are option which you could able to recover your password.If you forgot it then request a new one its really easy as pie or contact their support im sure they will answer or help to solve your problem.If you like to test out other then i would say c-cex,bittrex and there are lots actually.

the next best thing (which i think it is even better) is bittrex.
it doesn't have as much daily trading volume but it is high enough for you to have your big orders filled.
and also its website and charts are a lot better, while allowing some analysis on the charts.

i agree mate, bittrex can also provide high volume of certain alts, its also have more traders who play inside so just the same with polo you can deal with day trade and you can see good results unlike with some other exchange that have a lots of not well known coins that will also can destruct your focus with your trade but its my personal opinion though.

Maybe you there is a problem with the network connection or the internet? I think you are in a hurry to make a decision. Did you try to contact poloniex support system? I think poloniex including the recommendation altcoin trading site and you have to trade in the right place. But if you are looking for more recommendations I think has been answered in the comments above, and I agree with them

Maybe you should reset your username and password using the email you opened the account with. You can also send email to their customer care. But for your request, yobit.net is also good as they do almost the same thing, though poloniex is the exchanger that I trust I will still be trading with them. There are also some Chinese exchangers such as okcoin, bitcc if you are from that part of the world.

Poloniex is well trusted exchange site. But not this time. I found something is wrong is going on in this exchange right now. One of my friend saw that the his account was logged by someone on different IP's. He only use one ip only. But luckily he didnt put some funds on it. Maybe the op is just another victim of this crap.

Kraken is in the different level with polo and according to for their security is much better than polo or bittrex, because I've seen someone is able to access my polo account. and I think polo has the worst security also.

I think poloniex including the recommendation altcoin trading site and you have to trade in the right place. But if you are looking for more recommendations I think has been answered in the comments above, and I agree with them

I just want to know that altcoin trading is much profitable, I have seen a lot of people telling me to stay away from them.
I have seen the prices and they are not stable which make me think they are right, I don’t want to put my money on something that is not very stable or that can make me lose it.

I have the same problem with you, someone is trying to hijack my polo account from the unknown place, I think Kraken is a good to exchange for you. with high volume like poloniex and it can be a good place for you to trade but the fees is high rather than poloniex.

I have the same problem with you, someone is trying to hijack my polo account from the unknown place, I think Kraken is a good to exchange for you. with high volume like poloniex and it can be a good place for you to trade but the fees is high rather than poloniex.

Kraken and other exchanges like it don't have many altcoins, in fact they only add the top 3 to 10 altcoins that have high volume and are already old. and as an altcoin trader you usually want most number of altcoins that you can have as option for trading.
so while kraken is a good option for trading bitcoin/fiat it is not good for altcoin traders.
i suggest bittrex instead.

I agree, Kraken has the best security. One of the most reliable options out there.
