I'm planning to invest some money in a few Alts and I don't know which one to choose. From your perspective, which could be the best investment for this year?

I would prefer a coin that is less than $5.. Decred, for instance, is too expensive at the moment and may not be worth the investment (I'd need hundreds to feel a change, in comparison to Ripple for example, which requires a pretty small investment for a big profit in return for every penny).

Dont look at it that way.  Think in terms of percentages. i.e.  1 bitcoin going up $1000 (100%), is the same as having 1000 of x coin thats currently $1 and have that going up $1 (100%).  No difference.

You're right, but it's way easier for a $1 coin to go up to $2 than a $1k coin going up to $2k.

If you invest right now in Ripple for example, a single penny would make a big change.

DATABITS (DTB)

This is the currency for the Shark Tank recognized game Augmentors. This is a game token with huge potential. It just hit Bittrex within the last 48 hours and is seeing a steady increase in price. Don't miss out. Big things coming all year long for this one.

You really don't get the good picture thinking that way, look at the supply. The more the supply, the more dumping occur.

Ltc has more room to move. Worst case scenario back to .002-3 for the rest of the year. Best case 0.03. I have faith in ltc to continue its run for the next month. Obviously I am biased as I bought sub 40k and added at 60-70k

I am one of those people who say “the best coin is the coin hasn’t come out yet”, there will be an ICO of an amazing coin, you will get in early in ICO times or maybe when it hits the first exchange the latest, the price will just go up and up and you will get rich thanks to it.

If you got in early of bitcoin and got couple thousand bitcoins when one bitcoin worth pennies than you could have made millions, well you are too late for that in bitcoin but you are not too late for altcoins, one of the altcoins may hit a huge price and if you get in early now you will get rich eventually. So keep looking for coins that will ICO and see which one you see more future.
