I'm thinking about Renting  Hashingpower directed at Segwit Pool to help Litecoin for Segwit activation.
I have left GPU mining at 2014 and have no idea about renting. Any ideas which would be best?

You won't have a significant impact (if any) unless you put in tons of money.
Just wait, Litecoin doesn't have politics like Bitcoin does, it will get 70% SegWit support very soon. Just 5% more left to go.
