I've seen it time and time again. Even a couple hundred BTC up for grabs can cause a mini-panic.

As the market matures it will be more stable. In my opinion the crash was inconvenient only to a small number of people (and who knows where the market is heading)

It really depends on your timing, I think the whole "crash" was highly over rated.
