We use Tekkit Lite, version 0.6.5!

IP: play.kruxkraft.com

A Minecraft server on bitcointalk?
Many of you are wondering why I didn't just use another advertising site, like planetminecraft.com.
I posted here due to the general maturity of the users here (usually not 10 year old trolls). Also, it DOES pertain to the Bitcoin, as it is our in-game economy.

How the (insert explicate noun here) do you use the Bitcoin as a Minecraft economy?
Easy. I made a plugin called Satoshis (publicly available, btw. Just look it up on dev.bukkit.org). What this does is allows for the ingame currency to be backed by the Bitcoin. However... Not only can you deposit Bitcoin, you can withdraw it as well. Just look at the commands /deposit and /withdraw.

Other BS related to a Minecraft server:
- We use xTeams and GriefPrevention instead of Factions, Towny, Heros, etc. for a more customize-able group/protection experience.
- Trolling, griefing, and hacking are not allowed.
- We allow PvP. Just don't spawn camp. (See: Trolling)
- Do /kit protect to receive the golden shovel. (used for protecting land)

TO DEPOSIT BITCOIN:
1) /deposit
2) Send Bitcoin to the address given by the above command.
3) Wait for 20-30 min.

TO WITHDRAW BITCOIN:
1) /withdraw <your Bitcoin address> [optional amount to withdraw IN KRUX]
2) Wait for the transaction to complete.
There is a fee for withdrawing! All fees in the withdrawal process go directly to the Bitcoin miners!

Sales Tax is currently: 5%
This means that for every purchase you make, an additional 5% fee is tacked on, which goes to keeping the server up and running!

Donations (COMPLETELY OPTIONAL!): Just send me some BTC here: 1P46h2sVCB5U6591jz8zAN81gCh3G61fo4

Easily! The server stores the Bitcoin like a bank, and moves them around from account to account as in-game transactions are made. To put more money in the system, you just execute a command on the server which gives you an address to send BTC to. Another command handles money being taken out.

The benefit for anyone being able to deposit allows people who don't have BTC to put on the server to still earn in-game currency/BTC by selling items/services in-game. This makes a personal Minecraft server economy backed by the Bitcoin. Almost like a gold-backed government currency...

Hey guys, sorry about losing this. I moved to a tekkit server, and as such, lost that IP address.
But hey! We're on tekkit now! Just grab the the technic launcher (http://www.technicpack.net/download) and come play with us!
