Roger Ver Claims Bitcoin Unlimited is Production Ready At This Stage

It has been a while since someone tweeted something odd about Bitcoin Unlimited. Roger Ver came up with a statement that will get people riled up once again. In his opinion, Bitcoin Unlimited is production ready, as it produces over 40% of network blocks. While that statistic is true, no one in their right mind would call BU production ready right now. It caused quite a backlash on social media as well.

Goes to show that an idiot with money is still an idiot.

BU Nodes - 540 - 7.9%

Bitcoin Core - 5,878 - 86.01%

No one cares about Barely Unusable, and it shows... I guess its Roger's turn now to do something desperate not to look like a complete fool.

After yet another giant exploit/problem, the amount of BU nodes is down dramatically.  Again.

What's the chance that Roger Ver is actually holding a large amount of his coins in a BU node while calling it "production ready"?

Roger Ver can't look at things from a realistic and unbiased position. If it's up to him, Bitcoin as it is right now won't exist anymore. BU will be the real deal that pushes Bitcoin to the next level. It's mind boggling that he just can't see that Core is superior to 'his' by-amateurs-edited version of the protocol. BU should be UB -- Unlimited Bugs. No one in his right mind will seriously support them. That's why the majority of their nodes come from datacenters. Paid by R & J.

Roger Ver wanted to hurt the bitcoin and therefore dismissed the rumors about the fork. And this led to the fact that the price of bitcoin fell to $ 900. I do not know why he does it. I'm sure that there will not be a BU.

I do not know why he does it.

It could be that he and Jihan are just bluffing in the hope that the Core developers will come up with some sort of a compromise between them and the large blockers. It could also be that he and Jihan are looking to take over Bitcoin, where their 'crew' will form the main group of developers. It could be that they are just trying to push the price down for whatever reason by threatening to fork Bitcoin. Either way, they are working against Bitcoin right now. Especially when you also look at how they are spamming the network with worthless transactions.
