I have a question about how the bitcoin-qt client selects change addresses. I know that the default keypool size for bitcoin-qt is 100 keys. That means that if you backup your wallet.dat, then use 101 keys (through either creating a new bitcoin address, or as a change address when sending a transaction),  and then revert to the backed-up wallet.dat, your change from the 101st transaction will be lost.

What i would like to know is if my change would be lost in the following scenario:
1. I create a new wallet.dat and back it up.
2. I generate 99 address in bitcoin-qt by clicking 'new address'.
3. I delete the current wallet.dat and revert back to the backup.
4. I again generate 99 addresss in bitcoin-qt by clicking 'new address.'
5. I again delete the current wallet.dat and revert back to the backup.
6. I now send 99 transactions, each time requiring change.

In the above scenario, will i have lost any bitcoins? The reason i ask is this actually happenned to me and i'm trying to work out if i have lost bitcoins. As far as i can tell i should be fine so long as the keypool is stored solely inside the wallet.dat, because then the private keys would get reused after i reverted to the backup. But i have no idea where the keypool is stored. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
