I would like to back test some strategies for trading and was wondering what the best source would be for historical tick data. I would guess any more than 3 months would be of more limited value right now, but I'm unsure if this is even available. Any suggestions?

You can take a look at this thread:

Or you can use a trial version of Sierrachart to download and export its historical tick data into csv yourself...
