Announcing TorEx "Anonymous Bitcoin Exchange"

How TorEx Works?

TorEx is a site that allows you to sell USD and BTC anonymously. This is accoumplished by having the seller of USD mail the currency to the buyer using the mail system in all countries around the world. The system allows the seller to specify the country that the currency will be mailed from. The system has a automated reputation system which matches the seller of BTC and USD with the highest reputation scores. This system helps prevent fraud.

Tor.. Bitcoin.. Tor.. Bitcoin.. wait.. Tor.. Bitcoin.. *scratches head*
Oh yeah, right, now I remember!
Does TorEx have control over the Bitcoins at any time? I guess they are in escrow. Are they in, for example, 2-out-of-3 agreement escrow, or are they in sole control of TorEx?

'They" need to post in advance it doesn't look good to have your site down with zero news.

Yes, I made a mistake, because I was in a hurry because of Avalon's batch 3.  I see you bring that up every-time you can.  By the way I don't own this
anonymous bitcoin exchange site.

Well, you make it sound like you own it, because generally this section is used by owners to announce their services.  Roll Eyes

Yes I'm glad you agree no one should use them and since the owner won't show his face I suggest everyone write off this site (if they haven't long ago).

I didn't say that no one should use them, I said it doesn't look good.
We will just have to wait and see.

Every TOR based Bitcoin "exchange" so far has proven to be a fraud.

Advice - do not use unless you want to lose.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

Well where in the world does doesn't look good (aka they have no one posting on their behalf and their site goes down with no notice) mean go right ahead?

So are you saying people should use them? Do you use them?  What are you waiting for?

Usually they update on twitter if they plan upgrades. I don't blame them entirely if they are getting ddos'ed but that's not the case here with a faceless tor site with very little feedback.

I don't have a list but do recall at least two different ToR services that disappeared along with peoples coins (they might have actually been *mixing* services rather than exchanges actually).

But whether they were just mixing services or not just think about it - you are taking a very big risk leaving bitcoins on any exchange as it is (several have been hacked or have closed leaving people in the lurch) so putting your bitcoins into an anonymous service that could disappear without a trace is just asking to be robbed IMO.
