I doubt this would ever happen, like at all  Angry ...however, I'm just asking a "what-if" question.

Say if Facebook finally gets shut down by President Trump, but the developer of TorChat decides to re-buy the trademark for Facebook just to rename the app from TorChat to Facebook Messenger 2.0. Would you still create an account?

they profit too much with a centralized system, never would happen

and anything made by Facebook would be good for customers

Why would Trump shut facebook down? The Gov and NSA love facebook lol.

I also don't see any reason for some other company to name themselves after facebook unless they are just trying to steal a userbase.
