I have seen on the AMD Catalyst page that there are now different drivers available for the RX400, RX550 and RX570+580 series. Very nice - NOT !  Sad
So when my Rig has for example two RX480 and four RX570, which driver should I now install?

Yes, it's the same driver from both cards. If you click on the release notes link it will show you all the cards the driver supports.

It's also been widly reported the 5x use identical hardware as 4x cards. They just have a tweaked bios with faster timings, which is why they also use more power.

OK thx, but it's confusing to see these different drivers. I think there must be a "difference" between them, otherwise it would make no sense for AMD to release three different drivers (costs time and money to let the developers create, test and deploy them).

Very strange!

No difference at all. It's just different links to the same driver.
