Unfortunately I'm still restricted to the newbies section while the Multipool thread was moved out of it. So I'm creating this new thread here for us newbies...

Please report your experiences and opinions about Multipool here, thank you. I'm especially interested in anything about the honesty or lack thereof of this meta-pool, since it is so new.

It looks to me like it is just this, flexible mining proxy, made public to people.

Does anybody know if the pool-hopping they strategy they use actually gives any noticeable performance increase over time?

My group are looking to setting this up with the open source multipool software. Anyone out there got any feedback on your experiences with setting it up, and also whether or not the pool is beneficial ?
