Altcoin mining in South Africa

Hi .

I came across this forums and see there is a lot of people that knows plenty.

I'm from South Africa and looking into GPU mining, I have about 20000$ to invest and looking into buying as much 6xRX4xx 4GB rigs as I can.  Our Electricity price is about 0.15$c.

Now the million $ question is...Is this stil a viable investment...Is there stil money to made to at least get ROI...Will my electricity price kill me?

Other people say they make about 300$ per rig is that true?

Any other info or help will be highly appreciated

Even with that high rate of electic.. it should still be profitable (be able to hit roi+) unless the profitability drops over time. An nvida zec rig may give you better $ per power consumption than amd with eth.

I'm not sure how much you will pay for hardware in South Africa, but if you convert your local prices to USD you can use dozens of different profitability calculators at this site - https://whattomine.com/coins - Basically, you are paying ~50% more for power then I am, but even if my electric was 50% higher it would still be very profitable to mine altcoins with the current exchange rate on a bunch of different coins these days.
